A St. Patrick's Day blessing upon you! It's that time of year when thoughts turn to Ireland and shamrocks and green can be seen everywhere. On March 17th, the anniversary of St. Patrick's death, Irish throughout the world will celebrate pride in their heritage. Many will participate in the oldest St. Patrick's Day parade first held in New York in 1762 by Irish soldiers serving in the English military. Millions of pounds of corned beef and cabbage will be consumed and Guinness will be the beer of choice.
