If you could have any animal as a pet, what would it be?
Probably a cockatoo. I've been told they are perpetual 2 year olds.

Fruit or chocolate?
Definitely fruit! I'm just not a chocolate fan. Gove me fresh mango any day!!

Your favorite meal?
Southern cooking is my favorite! Bar BQ chicken, fried okra, fried green tomatoes, squash and banana pudding.

City break or weekend in the country?
Weekend in the country!! I'd never even venture into the city if I didn't have to.

Why did you join/donate to HOST?
I've watched the HOST team through two Christmas seasons. Recently, they helped me. Now I look forward to paying it forward!

How did you first get interested in what you do?
I've always been interested in art, even as a child. In high school, I took an art class. I was hooked. When I didn't have canvas, I painted on anything that would stay still. Hence the home decor.

Tell us about your shop.
My shop is a mix right now. I started out with just the hand painted home decor. I have a variety of themes, and I also do custom work.  But, over the last few months, I've gotten interested in a lot of new crafts and added those too. In addition to my current shop, a new one is in the works!

What do you love most about selling on Etsy?
I like the fact that Etsy is full of such a diverse group of artists. Everyone is different, yet we all have one thing in common.
